The coronavirus pandemic has rendered us sedentary in ways that no one could have predicted. Nothing could be a bigger start for Lucknow than the opening of their first microbrewery, Black Brewhouse, founded by Himanshu Dhanuk and Kamlesh Singh.

Rooted in business for long, the minds certainly know to ace the game of spreading an experience through the brews from Black. Headed by Ishan Grover, the brew-crew is all set to bring a myriad of flavours for all the beer aficionado.

“It’s very exciting to venture into Lucknow with Black Brewhouse to be the first microbrewery and seek new experiences and cuisines. For me this is double fold exciting as it is the first time the city will experience something like this.” reflects an ever-hopeful Mr. Dhanuk.

Adding a dash of contemporary yet classic swank to Lucknow's landscape of restrobars, The City Of Nawabs has got its first microbrewery, matching up to the standards of Tier 1 cities, Lucknow’s nightlife is going to see a drastic change.

Black Brewhouse is divided and spread across an area of 14,000 sqft. The two-storeyed beer hub encapsulates a myriad of ambiences to suit the niche in accordance with their mood. At the heart of Black Brewhouse is deep love for acing your experience all whilst  cherishing quiet moments, celebrations and jovial conviviality. It seems like magic when great food and beverages transform the mundane into extraordinary, bridges the preset with the past, and let bygones be bygones.

What’s brewing?

Take a look at what's on tap at Black Brewhouse before deciding on your favourite from its extensive list of fresh-brewed offerings with Black’s fresh classics. Currently, 4 styles of beers are brewed at BBH. Including, Belgian Wit, Blonde Ale, Red Ale, Paan Masala Saison and a Berry Cider. The amalgamation of fruity tones and zest would make these beers class apart, urging them stand-out from the bottled and canned beers. Their Berry Cider is brewed with 100% Himachal apples along with a mix of berries that were imported.

“At BBH, we aim at turning the perspective around with the notion of beer being an on-the-go, rad and brawny beverage. The idea is to shape elegance around beer, and promote the versatility of the beverage. An aura of classiness was clouded in the founders’ heads while curating the beer menu at Black.”

We are looking forward to creating awareness about the pioneering ways of bringing freshly brewed, craft beer to the nouveau-riche crowd while highlighting the details of an elevated experience that serves the most authentic of flavours —  The Taste of Black.” explains Mr. Dhanuk.
